The best HID Headlights for the H2 Hummer

Simply the best - Starr HID projector headlights!

Simply the best – Starr HID projector headlights!

If you have a Hummer H2 truck, chances are you’re looking to upgrade the beast. Many people put big wheels & tires on them and lift them and do big crazy sound systems inside them, but one of the most impressive upgrades you can do to the H2 Hummer is to install a set of Starr HID Projector Bi-Xenon headlights. These lights are a direct fit for the H2 or H1 Hummer, and they are easily the best quality and the brightest drop-in, plug and play true projector headlight on the market for these trucks!

SR Auto Group took full advantage of “Project Magnum” which is a build they did of an H2 Hummer, now this truck got the works, everything from a roof rack, to wild suspension components, no expense was spared, but you’ll notice that the crowning modification are the headlights. Without these headlights, this wild build would feel… incomplete:

This is project Magnum from SR and they finished this build with the coolest headlights available!

The 7″ round bi-xenon projector headlights from Starr HID are available in both chrome and black versions and utilize real OEM grade (really large!) projectors inside the housings. Their large stature really looks great when fitted on such a vehicle as a Hummer an in terms of light output, you can’t really get any better than this!

This is one mean truck!

When you’re trying to build the best truck around, you can’t use anything else than the best headlights.

The Starr HID Hummer H2 Projector Headlights come as a complete kit including 2 housings, 2 HID bulbs, 2 HID ballasts, 2 relay wire harnesses, and install instructions, and yes you can choose between black and chrome too! Did I say that these are the best yet? Not sure – I just don’t want you to miss the point! Please do yourself a favor and don’t buy a silly looking, cheap, set of headlights from eBay for your big awesome truck – do it right and do it once! Trust me, you won’t regret it!

New High/Low 4×6″ LED Headlights – A first of its kind!

GTR Lighting 4x6 LED Headlights

The first dual-beam LED 4×6 Headlight to hit the aftermarket is now available!

Many vehicles use sealed beam headlights, including commercial/industrial/military vehicles & older passenger vehicles (Like the Dodge Stealth for example) and sealed beam headlights come in 4 main sizes: 5×7″ Rectangle, 4×6″ Rectangle, 7″ Round and 6″ Round. For a long time different lighting companies have had LED headlight replacements for these sealed beam headlights, but never before has there been a “high beam & low beam in one” product for the smaller square 4×6″ size. Now, finally, there is! Introducing the new 12 watt 4×6 High/Low LED Headlight from GTR Lighting!

Stealth 3000GT 4x6 LED Headlight

The first high/low LED 4×6″ headlight, made by GTR Lighitng!

The reason this product has not existed yet is because this headlight is used mostly by semi trucks, which use 4 headlights: two for low beam and two for high beam. The amount of the automobile market that uses a high/low headlight is very small, so manufacturers have long since ignored it – but no longer!

These LED headlights are an awesome upgrade for any vehicle because they are way brighter than stock and require less energy to operate. On low beam, these headlights produce 1,200 lumens of light output and use 1.5w of power. On high beam, these headlights produce 2,400 lumens of light output and use about 3w of power. This is a lot more light than stock and a lot less energy used to do it! This is why LED headlights are the new craze all around the world.

JW Speaker 8800 4×6″ LED Headlights

165mm rectangular LED Headlights

The #8800 LED Headlight from JW Speaker is a 4×6″ rectangular LED headlight replacement housing.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… LED technology is taking over the world! The incredible light output reached by LED forward lighting products today is nearly as potent as any xenon product of any style, and it won’t be much longer until LED is king of the hill in every regard. Because I see the future of lighting technology trending towards Light Emitting Diodes, I want you to see this headlight, developed and manufactured in America, by a company called JW Speaker, from Wisconsin. J.W. Speaker produces high-end LED lighting products for industrial, commercial and aftermarket purposes.

Dual LED Headlights JW Speaker 8800

LED Headlights are commonly found in older vehicles and modern day semi trucks.

The majority of the LED headlights JW Speaker is making are designed to replace old style sealed beam headlight housings with new LED technology. This is because one of the largest lighting industries in the world still use standardized sealed beam type headlights: Semi trucks and military vehicles. This industrial market fuels the growth of LED headlight development, and although there are still not many 4×6″ rectangular LED headlights available, this one is the best.

How to install LED Fog Lights for the JK Jeep Wrangler

JK Wrangler JW Speaker

LED Fog Lights fitted to an aftermarket JK Jeep Bumper.

One of the hottest new items for the Jeep Wrangler JK are LED fog lights. JW Speaker is becoming a favorite in the community with their matching LED headlights and fog lights, not to mention the JW Speaker line looks better than anything else on the market!

If you are using an aftermarket bumper that is designed to re-use the factory fog lights, then here is a bracket made to fit the LED Fog Lights in place. The way they work is to sandwich the LED housing between aluminum plates on each side of the LED housing then use the hardware that is included to bolt it in the same configuration of the stock fog light mounting points.

How to stop JK Jeep Wrangler Flickering LED Headlights

This is a harness made by Headlight Revolution that was the first product ever to solve the flickering problems when installing LED headlights in the JK Jeep Wrangler.

This is a harness made by Headlight Revolution that was the first product ever to solve the flickering problems when installing LED headlights in the JK Jeep Wrangler.

One of the most popular things happening in the Jeep market right now (other than Vision X LED Off Road light bars) are LED headlights. Several companies make a light that will fit the opening of the Jeep that uses a 7″ round headlight housing, but nobody makes one specifically for the Jeep. This is a problem because the JK Jeep Wrangler (2007+ Models) use a special CANBUS functionality built into the lighting circuit. This is a good thing because it is a more intelligent design to control the lighting but it makes modifying the headlights a difficulty. This is how to fix the flickering problems you will encounter when trying to install LED headlights into your JK.

This is the only thing you need in order to install flicker-free 8700 LED headlights into your 2007-2014 Jeep JK.

This is the only thing you need in order to install flicker-free 8700 LED headlights into your 2007-2014 Jeep JK.

Without doing any modifications to the wiring, if you install LED headlights, like the JW Speaker 8700 Evolution, or the Truck-Lite 27250C the lights will flicker, flash randomly or strobe. This can cause headaches for the owner of the product because it will seem like the product is defective.

Jeep JK Wrangler with LED Headlights, no flashing

With the anti-flicker harness from TLG-Auto you can install any LED headlights in your Jeep Wrangler without any flashing or strobing problems!

If your LED headlights installed in your JK Jeep flicker or strobe, the lights are not broken – IT’S A PROBLEM WITH YOUR JEEP! Don’t send the lights back. Instead just buy the harness. You need THIS HARNESS to work with JW Speaker 8700 or you need THIS HARNESS to work with Truck-Lite 27270C. The Jeep Wrangler JK Anti-Flicker harness for JW Speaker LED headlights is made by Headlight Revolution and will solve your LED headlight strobe problems. This is a plug and play harness and requires no modifications, and you don’t have to hook it up to the battery! Simply plug it into the LED headlight and plug the other side into the Jeep – THAT’S IT!

GTR Lighting LED bulbs at SEMA 2012!

Kia Forte LED Bulbs at SEMA from GTR Lighting

The “Cyborg Forte” custom build at 2012 SEMA was part of a superhero display and used red LED bulbs in the front parking light spot by GTR Lighting.

The 2012 SEMA show was an awesome event, just like every year and during last week’s event was the first time ever you could see the new 24-LED bulb replacements on display at such an event. Here are two vehicles showcasing the colored LED bulb replacements, first on the Kia Forte “Cyborg” concept build inside the Kia booth. Secondly in the Smart Wax booth installed on the new Scion XB.

The 2012 Kia Forte looks great with aftermarket LED bulbs in the front housing because there is no amber reflector to block the great looking bulb. I don’t recommend using a red bulb up front like KIA did, but it looks cool for the show!

The new Scion XB built and setup in the Speed Wax booth at the SEMA Show used a set of white LED bulbs in the front turn signal housings which is a cool effect because it adds a daytime running light or driving light effect where there previously wasn’t one. This particular show car had a strobe light module set up that looked really great, but just adding the LED bulbs in place looked fantastic as well!
